Client Name: Charlotte Russe
The Charlotte Russe original email template was not designed with mobile in mind. With over 80% of traffic coming from mobile devices, the design needed a refresh.
Phase 1: I redesigned the email navigation to have a larger click area and translated to html. Previously, a lot of the email template was embedded text images, vs html text. If the user had their images turned off, they could not see the navigation. This live type and mobile first approach drove 40% more engagement.
Phase 2: The template was redesigned a second time to give a cleaner look and simplify the categories. The “Free Shipping” message was also placed closer to the creative to give more prominence and helped to declutter the nav.
